James is living the good life - a prairie home in 1910, all the food he can eat, and a safe assumption that he probably knows everything. But with a visit from a Ukrainian newcomer, James' intolerance lands him a ticket on a magical midnight locomotive. With a musical conductor as his guide, James is whisked away to Peru, Tunisia, India and Ukraine, to learn what makes these nations so exciting.
Only through cooperation with the world's diverse people, and by challenging his fears, can James realize the importance of diversity, and discover that the key to returning safely home has been within him the entire time...
